Tapasvi counters that PK is trying to take away people’s gods, and refers to an old prediction he makes with reference to the reason for Jaggu’s failed marriage. Tapasvi confronts PK and questions him, to which PK argues that there are no duplicate gods, that people believe in what gives them strength. PK later comes to know his remote is in Tapasvi’s possession and that the Tapasvi and the wrong number and the missing god motive was all a lie. He starts off a ‘missing god’ campaign, that actually exposes fraudulent godmen which Jaggu helps gain traction with her news reporting, which the Tapasvi doesn’t like. On his journey to Delhi, people tell him to find his God, and as such he sets out to practise all religions to find his God and the remote. Jaggu learns through PK’s flashbacks that he had befriended one Bhairon Singh who allows PK to tag along and leads him to believe that PK’s thief is in Delhi. Jaggu is a heartbroken woman after an almost failed marriage, but helps PK, as his name comes to be from ‘peekay’ (Hindi for someone who is a wasted drunk) to find his God and contact the ‘correct number’ as a Tapasvi from his time on earth had told him to do to return to his planet. He tells Jaggu about life on his planet where there is no sense of dress, language or religion, and that he is missing his remote when he becomes stranded in Rajasthan. If you thought that the poster was shot in green screens or chroma backgrounds, and then the background was changed, that’s incorrect! The shooting of the poster took place at a real location, which was an abandoned railway track in Rajasthan.When a strange humanoid alien meets a news reported by name Jaggu, he goes on to learn about life on earth, its humanity and love and language with Jaggu at his side. But do you know where was the poster shot? Obviously it raised its share of criticism too as Aamir Khan had gone completely nude for the poster. That’s what happened when the poster of PK was revealed. When its the duo of Aamir Khan & Raju Hirani, you can definitely expect the unexpected.

The second half could have been a bit shorter.

The first few minutes post-interval seems to be an extension of Munnabhai 2 (where callers call the radio station, in this movieits a TV channel).

Sushant singh rajput’s role is even shorter (his fans would probably be disappointed).

Boman Irani plays a comparatively minor/low-impact role (He was sort of a hero in the earlier Raju Hirani films).

If you have seen the movie ‘Oh My God’ (featuring Paresh Rawal), you can see lot of similarities in the movies.

Barring Aamir Khan & Anushka, the other characters have tiny/forgettable roles.

Most of the places you can feel that the stage or the studio could have been bigger.

The team definitely cut costs on production value.

Its difficult to spot negatives in a Raju Hirani film, but a few minor points worth mentioning.

Like Raju Hirani’s earlier films, P.K.

Skillfully binds together several threads.

Simplicity of the film including the songs.

Excellently touches a sensitive topic (Gods and Godmen) and makes some serious points…in an amusing manner.

As he navigates the human world in desperate search of his remote, there are many thing that he teaches humans, and also learns a few things himself from humans. Plot of the Film The movie is about an alien who lands on earth, but gets robbed of the remote through which he could have gone back home.
